Spikes - Swiss Galoppers

Each set includes seven galvanized steel spikes for maximum grip and minimal wear. If you already own an SG or SG-L, you can easily convert it into an SG-X or SG-LX yourself. You'll need two sets:

For installation, first drill a hole with a maximum diameter of 4.2 mm and a maximum depth of 9 mm into the pre-drilled holes in the sole. Screw in the spikes until they fit snugly.

Caution: Do not overtighten the spikes, otherwise they will lose their grip and be lost. To ensure a particularly strong hold, we recommend additionally securing the spikes with adhesive. We use the adhesive "Ergo, Type 5039 Gel" for this purpose.

Important note: When using spikes, we recommend using only NEW hoof boots with an intact sole and without abrasion, otherwise there is a risk that the spike will push through.
